I was surprised by the editorial cartoon in today's Red & Black. Is that Mullet Mike on the cameraman's t-shirt? It's cool to think that people in Athens remember me when I haven't even drawn a cartoon there in almost two years. I'm a fan of Bill Richards, one of the R&B cartoonists who took over my old job. Bill gets more feedback in one week than I got in entire semesters. Sure some of it's negative, but if you ask me, that just means he's doing his job. Editorial cartoons are, after all, on the opinions page. If you are also a fan of Bill's work, check out his blog. I think it's very cool that he has this forum to interact with people. Makes me wish I had a blog when I was cartooning...or that I was still cartooning...
