Great White sighted in Hawaii
Now what you've all been waiting for... Shark News! Last week, a huge great white shark was spotted about three miles off the coast of Hawaii. It is very rare to see white sharks in the warm waters off of the Hawaiian coast, but luckily, Jimmy Hall had his video camera. Hall is a videographer for Hawaii Shark Encounters, and when he saw the 17-foot shark approaching their cage, he initially thought it was a small whale. After watching the shark for a few minutes from the safety of the cage, Hall swam out to see the shark up close and personal. Since last week, Hall has been interviewed by dozens of media outlets and is being featured on the Today Show. This guy is my new hero.
